Announced at Nintendos E3 2021 Direct, Metroid Dread is real and coming very soon for the Nintendo Switch. The Metroid Prime remaster launches digitally later today, but if you’re a diehard Metroid fan and want to get the physical version of the remaster, you’re going to have to wait a couple of weeks. Metroid Dread could even end up being one of the best Nintendo Switch games available. ![]() Don’t worry, though, as you can choose different control styles, too, so you can recreate the original feel and movement from the GameCube if you prefer that instead.
